The Evolution of Relationships & The Modern World

Friendship, like everything else, has changed over time. In the modern urban world, true friendships are very rare. They may be numerous, but in terms of quality they are replaced by pragmatic relationships, people who prefer to be with you in fun moments and other people who distance themselves from you in difficult times…

How does social media affect friendships?

Social media can have both positive and negative effects on friendships.

On the positive side, social media can help you stay connected with friends and family members who you might not otherwise be able to stay in touch with, due to distance or time constraints. It can also be a useful tool for making new friends and for finding support and community online.

However, social media can also have negative effects on friendships. For example, it can be easy to compare yourself to others on social media, which can lead to feelings of inadequacy or low self-esteem. It can also be tempting to rely on social media as a substitute for face-to-face interaction, which can lead to a decline in the quality of your relationships.

In general, it’s important to use social media in a balanced way, and to make an effort to maintain meaningful, in-person connections with your friends and loved ones.

Deep-rooted ties and friendships

The deep-rooted ties, friendships and fraternal relations we have with our friends where we were born and raised, at school, may have evolved in a different direction due to factors such as technological development and globalization. Each of us goes through changes in our lives; work, losses, gains, changing-new-abandoned relationships, etc. So friendships are fragile.  Yet in this natural evolution of life, some friendships never disappear, despite distance, time and all the issues.

Deep-rooted ties and friendships refer to close, long-lasting relationships that have a strong emotional connection. These types of friendships are often characterized by trust, mutual support, and a sense of belonging.

There are several factors that contribute to the formation of deep-rooted ties and friendships. For example, shared experiences and shared values can help bring people together and create a strong bond. In addition, communication and openness are important for building trust and fostering a sense of intimacy in a friendship.

Deep-rooted ties and friendships can have a number of benefits for individuals. They can provide emotional support, a sense of belonging, and a sense of purpose. These types of friendships can also be an important source of social support, which can have a positive impact on mental and physical health.

Overall, deep-rooted ties and friendships are an important part of life and can bring joy, fulfillment, and a sense of connection to others.
