A Unique Photo Exhibition Narrating Istanbul's Visual Tale
ISTANBUL, A FAIRY TALE… When you step outside, take a careful look around. In the name of urbanization, many creative works are pushing all channels of visual communication to their limits. Streets, avenues, parks, gardens... Each one of them, overflowing with dynamic and colorful LCD or LED monitors, glowing advertisements, illuminated and non-illuminated billboards. This is Istanbul's visual tale. Our photo exhibition 'Starting from the Middle' awaits to tell you this story.
Our exhibition, which will take place from June 25 to August 30, could also be called a memory exhibition; it aims to revive and creatively interpret Istanbul in our memories with thirty-four talented photographers.
Also displayed in our exhibition is a photograph respecting Ara Güler, known as a master in documentary photography. This photograph was taken by the photographer Gulgun Gunal in an important and symbolic district of Istanbul. This work of Gunal expresses her deep respect for Ara Güler in a visual language.
Our exhibition, located at Feshane, one of the spaces blended with Istanbul's history, is waiting for everyone who wants to discover the various faces and stories of Istanbul. The exhibition can be visited every day of the week except Monday, from 10:00 to 18:00.
Address: Feshane, Nisanca District, Yavedut Street, Eyupsultan, Istanbul, Türkiye
