Biography
In a world where billions of people, creatures, and objects interact in unique and unrepeatable ways, Gulgun considers every moment an opportunity to capture a unique photograph. Where the universe proceeds to infinity, she takes pleasure in capturing that bygone moment.
In parallel, she engages in photography by exploring various moments, places, and geographies. Her work is often based on black-and-white photography to convey timelessness and emotion. Through diverse subjects and a humanistic perspective, she captures worlds from different generations, thereby enriching her artistic expression.
Her photographs have been featured in various notable publications. One of her notable photos was presented at the ArtIstanbul "Beginning from the Middle" exhibition, celebrated for its homage to Ara Güler. Additionally, she conducted an exclusive photo-reportage with Ricardo Moyano, which was published by the French magazine Guitare Classique.
She is a member of la Maison des Artistes.
